Hardware Design and Development
AES Engineers develop new designs and electronics packaging approaches, conduct reverse engineering studies and generates new solid model sub-assemblies utilizing Pro-Engineer 3D solid modeling tools. Output from those tools can be used to create manufacturing drawings and a Bill of Materials. AES performs analysis for expected structural and thermal performance under specified environments. AES engineering analyses support:
- Development of internal component design approaches (CCA partitioning, layout and mounting)
- Evaluation of internal component clearances, tolerance analysis, interferences, potting gaps, and subassembly outlines

Reliability, Maintainability & System Safety
AES performs Reliability Prediction, FMECA, Safety Assessment, and Fault Tree Analyses using PTC’s Relex Software Tools. These analyses help assess failure risks, improve system reliability, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
