Affordable Engineering Services is a leader in Military and Government Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul. AES has over 500 employees supporting the Navy’s aircraft maintenance efforts at the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW).

AES provides maintenance support for the FRCSW at North Island Naval Air Station and eight additional satellite sites. Our staff services a wide variety of aircraft Type/Model/Series (T/M/S) which includes the F/A-18, C-130, E-2C, C-2A, UH-1, AH-1W, H-60, H-53, EA-6B, AV-8, and V-22. AES artisans are responsible for all phases of repair, modification installation, logistics, configuration management, program management, maintenance, and prototyping. From initial inspection, complete teardown, rebuilding, inspections, test, and final flight test, AES professionals modernize and extend the service life of everything from modern fixed wing fighters to rotary wing UAVs.

AES performs multiple phase Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) including:

  • Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI)
  • In-Service Repair (ISR)
  • High Flight Hour Aircraft Repairs
  • Crash Damage Repairs
  • Modification Installations
  • Corrosion Control

AES performs Intermediate Level Maintenance (ILM) including repair of the following:

  • Landing Gear
  • Hydraulics
  • Pneumatics
  • ECS
  • Fuel Systems
  • Electrical/Avionics.

Recent Aircraft Experience

AES also provides Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS) Equipment Instructors who perform Operational Level Maintenance (OLM) classroom and over-the- shoulder training for Aircraft Mechanics with knowledge of the following systems and subsystems:

  • Ordnance Systems and Sub-systems.
