Production Support Services at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW)
In July 2024, AES secured a $40.6M, 5-year contract for Production Support Services at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), San Diego, to maintain industrial equipment and provide tool control services, supporting naval aviation readiness. Our team provides support services related to:
- Industrial Production Support Department (IPSD)
- Support Equipment (SE) Planned Maintenance System (PMS) Support
- Tool Room Support

These services are provided at the Government site at Naval Air Station
North Island San Diego, CA; MCAS Miramar, CA; and MCAS Camp Pendleton, CA.
Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) services at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE)
Aircraft supported include: F/A-18, F-5, F-35, H-60, P-8, E-2, C-2, T- 6, T- 34, T-44 and T-45.
In June 2024, AES, as part of the Aircraft Readiness Alliance II (ARA II) Joint Venture, won a $41.5M, 5-year contract for Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) services at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE), NAS Oceana and NS Norfolk, VA, supporting aircraft and components with modernization, repair, and maintenance. This includes modernization, conversion, in-service repair, disassembly, and all other categories of aircraft DLM as required.
ARA II’s skilled artisans perform alongside government civilian and military personnel, completing rework of existing aviation end items, systems, and components, which include maintenance and modification functions; manufacture of items and component parts otherwise not available; in-service repair, disassembly and all other categories of aircraft DLM.

These DLM services are provided at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) aboard Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, FL, and remote sites at: Naval Station (NS) Mayport, FL; Cecil Commerce Center (Cecil Field) in Jacksonville, FL; and Fleet Readiness Center Mid-Atlantic (FRCMA) aboard NAS Oceana, VA, and NS Norfolk, VA. On an as needed basis work locations may include fleet squadrons located outside of NAS Jacksonville, FL.
Seaport NxG Task Order for Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS)
Aircraft supported include: C-130T, AH-1Z, UH-1Y, MV-22, and CMV-22 aircraft and associated support equipment
In Dec 2024, AES secured a $37.7M, 5-year Seaport NxG Task Order for Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS) in support of Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Service Center (NATEC) for Technical Training and Technical support of aircraft Systems/Subsystems and Support Equipment at various locations both CONUS and OCONUS.
Our skilled workforce provides support for the NATEC CETS Contractor Field Services (CFS) at various Fleet shore activities. We focus on:
- Informing, instructing, and training Navy, Marine Corps military, and DoD
civilian personnel to ensure proficiency in the installation, operation, and
maintenance of equipment. - Offering technical guidance and advice to resolve complex technical problems.
The CFS technical expertise is categorized into three Aviation Core Disciplines:
- Avionics (AV)
- Airframes (AF)
- Power Plant (PP)

AES is performing on its third consecutive contract in support of FRCSW DLM
Aircraft supported include: F/A-18A-F, EA-18G, C-130, E-2C, C-2A, UH-1, AH-1W, H-60, H-53, AV-8B, V-22, MQ-8B and the LM2500 shipboard engine.
- AES provided superb performance as a Prime contractor for the U.S. Navy’s 7-year $289 Million FRCSW contract with 520 employees working at eight sites supporting the depot-level maintenance from Induction through Flight Line Test and Final Paint.
- AES continues to support the FRCSW DLM program as a member of the 8(a) Joint Venture, Aircraft Readiness Alliance (ARA), and its successor, ARA II, with a staff of 130 artisans.
AES performs Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) on the MH-60T and MH-65 rotary wing aircraft
AES performs Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) on the MH-60T and MH-65 rotary wing aircraft at the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) in Elizabeth City, NC.
- Provide Aircraft Maintenance Services (AMS) ranging from aircraft induction and modification, through support of flight test. AES provides just under 200 skilled personnel performing AMS tasks on aircraft, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Sheet Metal, Avionics Equipment, Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE), Upholstery and various other aircraft parts and components.
- Support the MH-60 Hull Conversion Program which strips and then modifies Navy MH-60 hulls into fully functional Coast Guard MH-60Ts.
AES CETS Engineering
Technicians:
- Deliver comprehensive training to Navy, Marine, and Air National Guard military and civilian personnel.
- Instruct and inform maintenance technicians on the proficient installation, operation, of aircraft systems including Airframes, Avionics, and Power Plants.
- Provide technical guidance and advice in resolving unusually complex technical problems with the specified aviation core disciplines.
